Cover Letter

Always include a cover letter with your resume. This is your chance to tell the employer exactly how your skill set will match with the items they have listed in their job description. If they say they are looking for someone that knows Excel software, then you can state that you have not only worked with Excel, but give an example of what you have done with Excel. Maybe you used Excel to create a personal budget or use Excel to run certain graphs.
