Interview Test Questions There are a lot of different types of questions that can be asked during an interview. Hopefully some of the ones listed below will give you a heads up to some of the questions you may be asked and you can practice your reply with friends and relatives. Why do you want this job? Where do you want to be in 5 years? How did you find out about the job? How did you prepare for the interview? If you could be on the front cover of a magazine, what magazine would it be and what would the caption say? What are some of your greatest strengths? What are some of your greatest weaknesses? What is your strongest attribute?
What type of environment do you function well in - structured, free flowing, with or without much supervision? Tell me about your work background? What professional moment are you most proud of and why? What did you enjoy the most about your last job? What did you enjoy the least? What do you like about this job? What do you not like about this job? Why did you leave your last job? What would you previous manager say about your work ethics?
How do you deal with criticism? What motivates you? Describe your ideal work environment. How do you deal with conflict? What is your management style? Give me an example of what you have done that makes you proud. Describe a conflict situation you have been involved in and how did you resolve it? Tell me about an accomplishment. How do you like to be acknowleged for good work? Tell me about your recent work experience(s). Why did you leave your previous place of employment?

When you delegate assignments to others, how do you keep track of their progress? Tell me about a decision you made that your supervisor disagreed with. How did you handle it?

How do you deal with difficult or demanding managers/co-workers/customers? Describe a situation. Tell me about a time when a supervisor asked you to complete a task that you thought was not necessary, or could have been done another way. What steps did you take to achieve the task?
Tell me about a time when you felt you had to break a company rule in order to get something done.
How would your supervisor describe your relationship with your peers? Describe a customer compliant that you have resolved.
Describe a day when you were faced with multiple interruptions and had to assist in covering an additional position. Tell me how you managed your day to accomplish your work.
