The job market is getting more and more competitive. Companies are having huge layoffs, unemployment is up, several of my good friends are losing their jobs / getting pay cuts and that is one of the main reason for this site. To help you get the job you want. I am not selling any product and not making promises that the job hunting websites and links contained on this site will give you the job you have always wanted. However, I do hope you find this site useful in securing a job and/or at least helping you become a more competitive candidate.

It is wise to think about what you want to do or career you want to pursue first. Then build a resume that will help you stand out from the thousands of resumes that are submitted, and be ready to answer the tricky questions that are asked during the interview. Each person that is asking questions is looking for their perfect answer and, unfortunately, with each interviewer being human, it is almost impossible to say this is the right answer, but the list of Interview Test Questions should help prepare you or at least make you think about how you would reply if you are asked a similar question.

Resume Tips - Some thoughts or suggestions on different sections of a resume. Many times, a resume is the only thing a hiring manager will see and base an interview decision on about you. It is a direct reflection on you.

Cover letters give you a chance to convey your expertise and give a brief summarization of your skills and why they need you in their company

You get the interview - It is time to prepare for the interview. Take a look at the Interview Test Questions and formulate in your mind, how you would respond if asked these.

Job Hunting Websites - these are some decent sites that are job / career / and resume related sites that you can use to help find a job. These sites also have resources that may be useful and examples of resumes, cover letters, and thank you notes.

Thank you notes - a must for any interviewer. Telling them you appreciated their time and that you are a good fit for their company.
