Paper

Paper - ok... Who really cares about paper? You should. Most people put their resumes on a plain white sheet of paper, which blends in with all the others. Do something to make yours stand out.

Paper comes in many diffent weights, textures, and colors. The job you are applying for should also drive the type of paper you use. I highly recommend going to a local store like - Office Max or Office Depot and asking them to show you the types of paper they have. Find one that appears to be aligned with your profession.

Also, make sure the paper you use for the Resume is also used for a Cover Letter and that the envelope matches the paperstock as well. When you follow up an interview with a Thank You note, try to use the same paper again.
