Thank You Notes After you interview, it is wise to send a note of thanks, especially if you are interested in the position. When the interview is wrapping up, I usually ask for a business card - this gives me the right spelling of the persons name, title, and address of the person interviewing you. Send them a Thank You note. These interviewers are talking with tons of people for one opening and a reminder of who you are and a brief thank you, does speak volumes. If you do use a color, weight or texture of paper, I do recommend sending a Thank You note on the same paper you used for your resume and cover letter. Not required, but does tie back to the resume a little.
